Cibo d'amare Cala Gonone

Oggi abbiamo cenato al CIBO D'AMARE e siamo rimasti davvero molto soddisfatti; sia della cucina sia del servizio. Molto vegan friendly!

Prodotti freschi e attenzione al cliente. Vino della casa forse da migliorare. Prezzo congruo per la qualità dei prodotti offerti.

Cena di famiglia, senza fretta, metà settembre, eravamo solo noi (ma era un po' presto), qualità molto buona, prezzi un po' sostenuti, servizio non rapido ma molto cortese. Buono ma non eccellente.

We followed the recommendations of google and TripAdvisor and we found a place with fresh, organic and local food. Everything might be fresh and local, but all of that doesn't help when it isn't prepared well. The beef of the rib eye steak died twice, while it was grilled far too long. So it was more than well done, even if it was ordered as medium/medium rare. The cut of the rib eye steak was far too thin (less then 1cm) and may challenged the cook to grill it correctly. Our experience with the fish of the day was sadly disappointing too. Completely dry and full of fish bones. The staff was friendly and kind until we complained. No reactions from the kitchen. When we received the bill, we told the waiter again that the food wasn't as expected! All our complains with the first waiter didn't seem to arrive the kitchen at any time. In total we left the restaurant quite disappointed as we were looking forward to a great evening.

Recommended by local friends who said this's the best restaurant, so built up quite a high expectation. Indeed, it's very popular, was full and guests were keep coming. Like: 1. Friendly and good service, with no service charge 2. Pretty presentation of the food 3. Daily fresh made menu with international flavour yet local touch 4. Food is fresh made Keep in mind: 1. Downstairs bar is very loud so you can't hear the music of the restaurant itself 2. Waiting time is long, be prepared to wait for up to 2h for a popular main course In all, appreciate the dinner and would totally come back again and recommend for anyone who is visiting Cala gonone to try!

Cibo non solo d'amare perché ottimo, ma anche da ricordare

We had a great evening here in early June 2017. The terrace is lovely and the food even better. The service is super friendly, but relaxed, with no rushing. Planned to have one course, stayed for three, plus plenty of drinks too. The house wine was decent and we also tried a Sardinian gin and tonic - highly recommended!

Nur frische und regionale Produkte. Täglich wechselnde Speisekarte. Auch zahlreiche vegetarische Gerichte im Angebot. Schöner Balkon mit Blick auf den Hafen oder alternativ in ruhiger Seitenstraße. Junges freundliches, englischsprachiges personal, das gerne alle fragen beantwortet. Man merkt, dass man sich hier wesentlich mehr Mühe gibt, als bei vielen anderen Restaurants. Das mit Abstand beste Essen des ganzen Urlaubs!
