Il Cappero at Therasia resort Lipari

Provato il menù degustazione "Le 8 sorelle" Qualità dei prodotti ottima e presentazione superlativa. Mi sarei aspettato qualche emozione in più dal sapore Degno di nota la degustazione dei vini abbinata dal sommelier al menù. Originale ed azzeccata Locale curato ed elegante. Nota stonata il fatto che per andare ai servizi bisognava chiedere al cameriere di aprire una tenda scorrevole trasparente...e poi aspettava che tu tornassi..

Some ideas as really good. The octopus with the liquorice was really impressive, the prawn starter really pleasant. The mackerel starter instead was tasteless, didn't like the rabbit croquettes, but the "primi" were tasty. All in all it would be a nice restaurant for a 15-20?/serving, but unfortunately we didn't ate what we were expecting for 30? dishes. The manager was nice and went through the whole tasting menu straight away but was slightly dissappointed by our doubts on it and immediately lost interest in us when we decided not to go for it and make our own. The sommelier is great and picked for us an amazingly perfect wine, 5 stars to him. 20 minutes wait at the end to capture the manager's attention again to have the bill, not really what you expected when you're paying a few hundreds bill. We do like the style, but were not impressed as expected.

The location is amazing. We arrived right on time for the sunset & it was a magical moment. We have been proposed the degustation menu with 9 dishes but we decided to choose from the menu. The food was very refined & the wine very good. We had an amazing evening.
