Taverna Barberini Roma

Posto alquanto trasandato con sala al di sotto del livello stradale. Provato un menù fisso con pasta arrivata fredda e scotta. Un involtino di pollo di porzioni microscopiche. Pane molliccio scaldato

Mia sorella ed io siamo andate in questa taverna su suggerimento di un mio collega. Ottima scelta,cacio e pepe top,orata fresca e mai mangiate delle patate al forno così buone. Lo consigliamo

Iniziamo già bene con un accoglienza calorosa del gestore che ci ha fatto stare bene in tutta la serata . E ora eccoci alle portate . Antipasto misto caponata salumi e verdure eccellenti al carrello

Nous avons choisi cet établissement puisque je suis intolérante au gluten et nous avons pris deux assiettes de pâtes (une classique et une sans gluten) toutes deux de bonne qualité ( très bonne sauce tomate). Ambiance calme et discrétion du personnel

Not only was the food the best we have had all week, but the service was amazing. My wife had the gluten free ravioli which is something she can't get at most places, and absolutely loved it. I had a lamb dish (the first one on the second courses menu) and it was incredible. This will definitely be our go-to restaurant every time we are in Roma!

After eating in some very disappointing restaurants near to tourist traps in Rome my mam and I did some research and found this little gem of a family run restaurant. Being a coeliac I needed gluten free options which was bound to be difficult given the fact that we had come to the home of pasta and pizza! This place however offered EVERY option on the menu as either gluten free or with gluten! It was a luxury I have never experienced before! The welcome was meaningful and there was a real sense of family and warmth here! Taverna Barberini made up for all of the disappointing meals I had had in Rome and I would recommend it to anyone!

We were a little daunted descending the staircase to what seemed like a dungeon. First impressions however were overcome by the excellent service, and food. Salmon risotto was ace.
