Absolutely lovely meal and a real authentic Experience. a little rough round the edges but it's the food that counts. The host/owner is a lovely lady and to top it off she owns a sausage dog (who my wife adored). thoroughly recommended but go with your eyes open and not expect the Ritz. Nice little casual bar next door for a quick drink beforehand too.

Ottima cucina piatti semplici ma gustosi e sfiziosi...porzioni non troppo abbondanti ma di ottima qualità ci tornerei altre mille volte.... I carciofi alla romana con crema di formaggio strepitosi

This is a family restaurant and does not pretend to be anything else, but it was a very special culinary and personal experience. If you don't try the fish baked in potatoes you will miss one of the best dishes you might ever taste. The service was so personal you felt as if you were eating with family. We will eat at Ripetta every time we come back to Rome.
