Tenuta Torciano Winery Ulignano

We went winetasting today, found place pretty easy. One girl was waiting for us and she introduced place to us in few sentences. Nothing big/special. We got few glasses of wine paired with food (sausage, cheese, bread with olive oil). We didn't book lunch, but they brought us lasagna and soup anyways and we didn't pay extra for it. Food was amazing, very tasty and filling. Only impression we had is that service is behaving a bit fake, they are not natural, a bit pushy with recommending you to buy wine, all in all they didn't make us feel comfortable at all. They ruined this experience for us a bit. Other than that, wine was great, location is beautiful and food amazing.

Fascinating visit to Tenuta Torciano. Pierluigi is informative and humorous, and the wines are excellent. I ordered a mixed case, can't wait for arrival when the weather in Florida cools. Watched truffle hunting by a hyperactive dog and handler, a new experience. Torciano was the highlight of an 8-day small group (6 persons) tour of Tuscan wine and food.

An amazing wine tasting experience! So many wines to try, delicious food and the staff was fantastic! I will say though, we went for the simple tasting and were up sold to the lunch (but they don't tell you there's an extra charge... We only knew it would be extra from reading reviews). Either way, everything was perfect and you really can't go wrong.

RAZZISTA E PRESUNTUOSO La mia amica ha appena chiamato per avere informazioni sulla degustazione e il signore al telefono per tutta la chiamata è stato completamente maleducato e ostile, anche a dire il prezzo lo ha fatto in modo sarcastico, il peggio è stato quando ha pensato di aver buttato giù ed invece ha cominciato a fare commenti riguardo il fatto che lei era brasiliana, commenti del tutto razzisti e ha aggiunto un "ma ti pare due giovane brasiliane, vengono da laggiù per fare degustazione". Siamo giovani, lei è brasiliana io no, la degustazione, la cena, la colazione o quel che è sono cose alle quali nonostante l'età e la provenienza ci possiamo permettere. Lei vive qui e paga le sue tasse da più di 10 anni, forse più della Tenuta visto che chi ci ha consigliato ha detto di fare attenzione perché per ben due volte non ha visto scontrino. Razzista e maleducato lo sconsiglio vivamente.
